We identified three actions based on the most commonly shared concerns or suggestions. We selected three to stay focused on implementing them. Over time we can build. The actions are: > > 1. Action 1: We selected this as it was the number one concern shared by staff > 2. Action 2: Reason > 3. Action 3: Reason > > We would value your feedback on these actions as well. The next risk assessment will be in X (12) months and part of this will be focused on getting your feedback on these actions. As always, if you have any questions regarding this please message (relevant details). > ### **Key Elements of Effective Communication** - **Purpose:** Why are we doing this? ("We want to understand and address risks that impact wellbeing and safety at work.") - **Anonymity:** Responses are anonymous, and no individual will be identified. - **Time Commitment:** It only takes a few minutes. - **Feedback leads to action:** Insights will lead to action and we will share the action plan with you. Our aim is to pick 1-3 actions post assessment. - **What Happens Next:** A high-level explanation of what will be done with the results (*"Wellbeing & Safety Committee reviews and designs an action plan which will be shared with you via email. Feedback on this is welcome and encouraged."*). ### **Best Practices for Communication** - Use **simple, jargon-free** language. - Get a message from **leadership** endorsing the process. - Use **multiple channels** (email, meetings, internal chat tools). - Address **worker concerns** upfront (e.g. anonymity or not acting on the data). ### **Best Practices for Designing Controls (taking action)** * Consider controls on an impact and cost of implementation quadrant. High impact, low impact, high cost of implementation and low cost of implementation. * Select 1-3 controls at a time so it is realistic that they will be implemented.
